This album is such a masterpiece. The driving bass lines, the blissful chords, the creative beats, the wonderful melodies, the soulful vocals - so beautiful. The production is so innovative, vibrant, and full of life. The way Disclosure blends 80’s house vibes with modern pop influences is incredible. Plus, there is so much variety throughout the album. Even though all the tracks are house tracks, they all sound so different from each other, because each track explores a different aspect of house music. This album still sounds so fresh. Even though it was released around 8 years ago, it sounds like it came out just yesterday. It just never gets old! Such a gem. 💎

It was love from the moment I heard Latch... and the love only deepened after hearing the whole album. When A Fire Starts to Burn is a great beginning song and really sets the tone for the whole record. At times, I am reminded of Basement Jaxx (whom I adore!) and Daft Punk (whom I really like!). It is a really great album and is a wonderful addtion to my Electronica stash.
