Im surprised. backspacer was disappointing, so was lightning bolt. when dance of the clavariots dropped, i knew that this album would be a very expiremential album, but i was pretty much wrong. Super blood wolfmoon is one of their best songs ever. i loved never destination, quick escape, (a slow burn song, so most of the time it dosent work, but today it did) and 7 o clock was awesome too. loved whoever said, really cool vibe. dance of clavivaciots was okay, couldlv'e been but i liked the flow in the very end. As far as the aucoustic songs, i didn't care for them much, but the two standouts are retrograde and comes and goes. Overall, great record. they just let loose and played us some great garage rock, and i vibe with it a lot. im considering a 7 out of 10. good goob PJ

This album has been out for about a year and I’m still finding new things I like about it! Highlights are DOTC, Quick Escape, and Seven O’ Clock
  • It’s Pearl Jam and it’s totally wicked!

    Great album! Welcome back
  • A different Pearl Jam than what I grew up with.....but that's not a bad thing.

I can still remember the first time I heard Evenflow on the radio, back in the summer of 1991. I had just finished my first year in college......I went to the local Mother's Music and bought the album the next day. Ten still my favorite PJ release, but as I've grown older along with the band members, I've come to appreciate different sounds and not expect things to always be the same. I wasn't a big fan of Lightning Bolt, but Gigaton is right up with Ten as one of my most listened to albums......it's a different, more mature sound, and a very good overall.
  • breathtaking.

I'm giving three stars which is the lowest I'll ever give a PJ album. They are incapable of going lower than average. My disappointment lay in that there wasn't one song that hit me like so many of their others. I grew up with PJ but these days (getting old) I rarely have interest in high energy rock. If this album had given me just one Light Years, Off He Goes, Wishlist, Sirens, Nothing Man...I would be happy. The few quiet songs on Gigaton just don't hit me with the same feeling. The songs I listed, and so many other PJ songs can bring tears to my eyes even after I've heard them 100 times. PS: If you haven't heard the live recording of Vedder singing Comfortably Numb hit YouTube a.s.a.p.
  • Welcome Pearl Jam!!
