Great song capturing the love of a blended family.

My parents broke up when I was little and got with many guys. My real dad is always there and so is my stepdad. I love my dad a lot but I have a really good connection with my stepdad and that’s why I’m IN LOVE with this song

When I first heard this song I thought of my stepmom. My parents divorced when I was a baby and I was moved back and forth. My dad remarried when I was 4 to my stepmom. My mom walked out 6 years ago when I was 8 and haven’t heard from her yet. My stepmom who I think of as my own mom, has been wonderful and my rock while giving me two wonderful younger siblings. I can completely relate to this song. Piece of advice I wish I had 6 years ago, don’t think of what you lost but what you gained and already had and appreciate it.
Got Everyone Emotional
One of the best, most relatable songs my family has ever heard. Thank you for this.
I love this song so much that every time I go on a day trip I turn it on
Really hits home! ❤️

Having raised a special needs son that did not have my last name, this song reminded me that having a different last name did not make me any less his dad and that I am the only dad my son ever really knew. Unfortunately my son passed away, but I was his dad for 19 incredible years and miss him very much! Hug your kids, tell them you love them, tomorrow is not guaranteed! ❤️
What an amazing song.
This is the song that my step dad that I call dad showed me I love him and I cryed when I first herd my biological dad wasn’t their when I was growing up so good job love you voice thank you this song bro it my step dad and me closer than ever thank you again
In the backseat listening to this song with my step dad it almost made me cry. It’s all true mostly the part where he says he would still treat his stepson the way he would treat his real so.By the way that’s what got me 5 star love amazing
