This is one of those shows that feels like "you had to be there" either way this album feels very empty with only two or three memorable tracks. It is diffucult to bother with naming them I feel so apathetic towards it by now.

After listening to Howard Shore's score for the films for the past eight years, this score falls flat. A live musical of LOTR is such a horrendous idea and the music is simple and plain. Nothing compares to what was done for the films.

I never got to see the theater production of it :( . But I really like "cat and the moon" I absolutely looooooove " now and for always" their voices blend so well, the guy who plays Sam is epic. Although Frodo's voice is a little annoying, i forgive him because he is playing Frodo.

This album is worth buying purely for Galadriel and for Legolas' solo and riff in Lothlorean. The whole thing is incredibly moving, deeply emotional, and captures the spirit of Tolkien's trilogy in a way you would never expect a musical would. Both the singing and instrumentation in this entire compliation is completely breathtaking.

I adore this so much, one of the best musical soundtracks I've ever heard. It's up there with the Phantom of the Opera in quality. I don't like the Song of Hope, but Wonder and Lothlorien more than make up for it.
  • SO GOOD

I am a teenager pursuing a career in musical theatre. All I can say is that this is GENIUS! Every song (with the exception of about 3) is a TOTAL MASTERPIECE.

I have waited so long for this to come on iTunes! As a Tolkien addict, I am so pleased and thoroughly excited with this. I can't wait to see it when it goes on its world tour. This is absolutely amazing! A pleasure for singers, writers, and Hobbit-lovers alike, this soundtrack does NOT leave you wanting!
