I've been searching far and wide for this album as it is something I listened to as a child growing up. This is Christmas to me!!! It is relaxing and beautiful without being dull.

By far and away one of the best holiday albums I have ever had the privilege of listening to. These melodies will not fail to move your soul and lift your spirits, while enhancing that enchanting love that always lingers a little heavier this time of year. Bravo

I've been listening to this CD for more than 10 years, and the music never gets old. I used to put this music on before I went to sleep, and sometimes I still do!

I've purchased eleven (11) of these CDs for friends over the years. I'm THAT confident that they will love it as I do.

Beautiful and perfect Christmas music. Parts uplifting, parts sentimental, parts wistful. All engrossing, all original, and all gorgeous. Solstice III has always been a family tradition for decades, which I can't seem to find on iTunes, but this one is just as good! Get it.
  • Inviting, friendly music to play when you're sitting next to the fireplace looking out the window

    By cirqueman
This album is all instrumental and features some known and lesser known (though just as interesting) Christmas music. The playing is top-notch, varies from classical style and jazz to new age and the quality of the lesser known compositions is very good. From the opening festive "Carol of the Bells" performed by the whole ensemble to miniture works sprinkled throughout to the haunting ending "Asleep The Snow Came Falling", this is music that you listen to while sipping your drink next to the fireplace looking out the window. I highly recommend this album as a great mood piece for the holidays if you're looking for something in addition to the more common holiday music out there.
