  • IMHO... the greatest live blues performance, ever

    By Officer iPhone
All time favorite live performance of any album, CD, cassette, 8-Track... MP3, you name it. Beth’s vocals puts even Etta in the backseat... and Joe is top 5 greatest guitarists, period.

  • I cried to this music AND I ADMIT IT!!!

    By JMacBerwickPI
I am a 55 year old biker, tough as nails, and I wept at this music. It is that good; listen to "I'd rather go Blind" and hear Bonanassa's guitar weep openly while Beth just sings from the absolute bottom of her soul. I have never heard anything so powerful since "Free Live", and a young Paul Rodgers paired up with Bonamassa's hero, Paul Kossoff. These singers and musicians are not normal people; they have music in their DNA. If you like the blues, this THE ULTIMATE BLUES ALBUM.

Great Live Album . . . What a wonderful performance by two extraordinary artists that compliment each other. Beth Hart what can I say, you sing from your heart and soul. Joe Bonamassa you play with such empowering melodic feeling, your'e a talented and gifted guitarist. Both of you Thanks!

Beth Hart is undoubtedly one of the best of the time we're living in - she is near the top of my bucket list. I'd give anything to see her live. Any song she sings should be record of the year.
  • Blues connect with Bonamassa & Hart album

    By Rob94551
Been watching Joe and Beth seperately for a long time. Both gives the Blues a boost and alone they are amazing. Combined the energy and connection is rare to find. I have watched them in the past performing and the new album brings more of them to us. Buy it and enjoy....
  • One of the Best Live albums to come out in a long time.

After listening to the first three songs, you already realize that the synergy and energy of the whole band is just top notch. Beth Hart's unique and stunning vocals really work with all of these covers, and it's good to note that these are not just the average cover songs. They're absolutely above and beyond the average selection, and the performances are stunning. Joe Bonamassa's guitar work perfectly highlights the vocals, and don't even get me started on when he starts playing on his own. He's such an ace: the guitar tone, the guitar playing, and the tastefulness of every aspect really stands out from the rest of "big name" guitar heroes. If anything, this album sounds best with the volume high, and with a good stereo or set of headphones. 9.5/10 would literally go tell all of my friends about how I stopped working just to sit and listen to the album.

Great album . Both complement each other. Only thing better than having this in my library, would to have been in Amsterdam.
  • Great work on songs we've heard before!

Good job on alive performance with short prep time. I enjoy the different mixes and variety live albums give - and Joe and Beth do not disappoint.
